Quiet and clean cafe with good coffee and delicious sando. The sando egg mayo filling was delicious and generous. Definitely coming back again.

I stumbled on Cafe Barco while looking for a place that was near an MRT station, yet without the hordes that clog places on weekends. Turned out to be an excellent choice, as the heavy downpour didn't affect us since there's a sheltered walkway connecting the station exit to Techview, with the cafe just a few steps away from there. I had the Big Breakfast, while my companion had the Mentaiko Pasta with Salmon. The scrambled eggs were competently done, my companion enjoyed the pasta, and the flat white suited me very well - smooth, and brewed just right. There were many attracrive looking items on the menu, but nothing that I would describe as ground breaking, rather, they seemed like your satisfying, familiar, even homey comfort dishes, done with the right/light touch. We had dessert, but were too satiated and had to take away the tiramisu, which the staff gladly obliged. Will return to try the other items, and the intriguing drinks I wanted but couldn't as I had maxed out my caffeine intake! I discovered to my disappointment that the popular baked items can get sold out early, despite the seemingly slow afternoon. Cafe Barco is the kind of place to go to when you need something comfortable, reliable, not fancy, in a relaxed and cozy setting. Barry and - sorry I didnt get her name - made the whole dining experience on a stormy Sunday afternoon a pleasant and extraordinary one.

Great coffee. Great food. But opened two hours after advertised, at 10. Then no coffee til the machine warmed up (30 minutes) and for some reason the air con wasn’t turned on til after 11am. Shame as it’s a great space.

A delightful cafe experience! The Mentaiko Egg Mayo Sando was absolutely excellent — packed with a generous amount of filling and bursting with rich, umami flavor. Easily one of the better sands i had before. I also tried the Cream Cheese Foam Coffee, which was a pleasant surprise. Smooth, creamy, and well-balanced — definitely a must-try for coffee lovers looking for something different. Will definitely be back to try more items!

It's a cafe, not a restaurant. So dun expect restaurant liked services. BTW, there's no tax & no service charge. However, the price somewhat feels on a slight moderate high, so personally, i feel the no tax, no service charge is concealed inside. Order & pay at counter. Nevertheless, I like the atmosphere because all the tables are nicely space out & and provide privacy on conversations. The serving portion is a generous portion. The salmon mitaiko sauce is a little salty to me, but my daughter likes it. So I guess it depends on the individual. The rip eye is nicely cooked to medium well & cut into slices. Not overly cooked, so it is still juicy (nice). Overall damage for 3 is $107.50. Easy access because it is located exactly by the entrance of Kaki Bukit MRT Stn.

The food tasted great and the portions were good for the price you are paying. Service was great too, though we went at a timing where we were the only people in the cafe so we had the whole place to ourselves. Do give this place a try, it has a great fusion-western concept with reasonable prices.

Came just before noon and was easy to find seat. Ordered the salmon mentaiko pasta and the pork don which were nice. Tried the mini tarts with latte A nice place to chill if you are around this area.
